Claire Colgate has spent over 30 years at the heart of European equestrian fashion. Her career has taken her from the UK to France and Italy, working closely with some of the most respected names in the industry, and giving her an insider's knowledge of helmet design, fit and craftsmanship that few can match. But ask Claire what matters most, and she won't talk about brands. She'll talk about riders. Every client is different, different head shape, different discipline, different sense of style, and finding the perfect combination for each person is what she loves most.
Designer Equestrian was born from a simple observation: riders were being asked to choose between safety, style and service, when they should never have to compromise on any of them.
Having spent decades in the equestrian fashion world, working alongside prestigious brands in the UK, France and Italy, we saw the need for something different. Not another retailer, but a truly personal service; one built on care, attention and a deep understanding of both the rider and the craft.
